Pipes burst on 14th street last week, flooding, among other things, Alexander McQueen's New York showroom.
While it rained inside, stores closed, PR girls cried, and very expensive bags got very wet.
Now, it's being reported that McQueen will host a mini-show of his AW08 collection at Milk Studios for his best clients and favorite fashion press.
The fashion industry's favorite photo studio is right across the street from the still damaged showroom. Which means there are some stunning dresses stashed somewhere within a one-block radius.
