Our favorite Monday rumor:
That actress Parker Posey is in strong consideration to be the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs.
If true, it means Ms. Posey is following the footsteps of M.I.A, Lily Cole, Jessica Stam, and Querelle – remember her? – as the bleached-out poster girl for our favorite brand, as captured by Juergen Teller.
If false – well, let’s face it, it probably is false, because we never get rumors right over here.

Gawker will be relieved to know that the rumor makes no mention of her apparently Satanic puppy.
Meanwhile, we’re relieved to hear that despite her front-row appearance at the Marc by Marc show this February, Fergie has not been mentioned for the campaign.
