Love these. I saw a retro two piece at Saks by LeTruc that is so absolutely fabulous that I really really want to buy it...

That number 5 red one is great!

Inspiring post - I am so excited to go swimming in my pool & tan with friends all summer long. I do like the simplicity of the Old Navy one.

This is actually REALLY amusing coming from a site that said a few months ago that they would never wear a one piece swimsuit.

i have number 5 in black! its wonderful! and it fits all sizes, really slimming too!

i look literally 4 sizes smaller w/ it on!

i got it in size 12 (it was the last in the store), though I'm usually a size 8. my sis tried it on and it fits her too. she's a size 2, but she has a long torso.

you know, theyre cute and everything but when you actually go swimming and then get out of the pool, then you have all this wet fabric suffocating you for the rest of the day.

I'm so glad this style finally became mainstream because I've been relegated to ordering online for these for years, and the size charts never seem to correlate to how the suits actually fit. Now I can actually go somewhere and try them on and not spend the month sending packages back and forth all summer.

I love the Jantzen one. So cute.

I don't find that to be true. And ultimately, change into something else if you're suffocated...

guest at 10:20, I totally forgot about that. This http://fashionista.com/2008/01/would_you_wear_a_onepiece_bath.php
+ this post = confusing?

Hi - If you really read my WYW post, you'll see that I never said I, and we, would never wear a one piece. I simply posed both sides of the argument for them to open a helpful discussion, as we always aim for.

Also, I think one of the great things about Fashionista is that we post all sorts of points of view to reflect the different people that work here, not just one person, so we end up giving lots of opinions on different topics. Otherwise, we'd be a lot more like magazine.

I am tall with a long torso and 34D chest (but a size 2 for bottoms.) I know that sounds pretty good but it is hell in a basket for swimsuit shopping. Cute yet supportive two pieces are hard enough to find, let alone one pieces. Does anyone recommend any brand/designer for me? I know J.Crew makes D-cups but their selection in that size range is kind of bland. Thanks!

I've always found one-pieces to be so sophisticated! I'm ready for summer with my one-piece and big floppy hat!!
