I love that she is wearing an anti-fur pin while dressed almost entirely in leather.

I think the above commenters are missing the point of the post...
It isn't about whether or not leather pants are fashinable or not, it's about Lindsay potentially wearing leather pants and an anti-fur button at the same time.

Looks a little like mercerized cotton, which is great on jackets, and not so great on pants.
Either way, she would look so much better if she laid off the sunbathing.

Hey those aren't leather pants, they're the PVC knockoffs from American Apparel. $30 and fabulous.

i'm pretty sure they're either pvs leggings or coated denim
how do you not know these things, those are both hugely popular!

Everyone should be against fur, whether they wear leather, eat meat, whatever.
No one is perfect, but that shouldn't stop us from opposing certain cruelties--like fur--when we can.
Or should we only expect perfect people to take a stand? We might be left waiting...

Hmm, yes, fur does not equate to leather. Fur is somewhat like hair you know? Yes. Leather is made out of the same animal as a typical burger. So, one can eat burgers and be against fur usage can they not?
I don't get what's so wrong with her wearing leather pants and an anti-fur pin. You eat a cow, might as well make jeans out of the hide. I don't remember anyone eating a mink after they made a Dior furcoat out of twenty of them...

also hilariously hypocritical considering she is photographed CONSTANTLY wearing big fur coats - often as a full family affair with her mother and sister in on the "trend" as well (most recently)ala her trashy long island roots

leather is a byproduct, fur is not
what about people doing SOMETHING upsets those who do nothing?

Ya...but guest at 4:13-
Unfortunately, the cows that are used to make leather are not the same ones that are slaughtered for beef. So, as much as Lindsay (or any anti-fur person) is doing to "help," they're killing just as many animals by wearing leather as they are by wearing fur.

OMG she is consistently 1-2 years behind all trends.
HYSTERICAL! (And I bet you those are AA leggings.)
