Spring is finally here!
Well, at least according to the calendar if not the thermometer. Of course we’re one step ahead - already stocked up on sandals, a spring jacket and florals that we can’t wait to wear. But we’ve stopped short of shorts.
First of all, we’re still ghastly white. Secondly, shorts are hard to wear. They have to fit perfectly - long enough to be comfortable but short enough to be flattering. They need, for our purposes, to be at least semi-chic and fashionable but still doable on a daily basis.
So it’s a good thing we just came across the Taxi Short by Ditto.
They’re the perfect blue. They’re high waisted enough for tucking in shirts without looking costume-y. The inseam appears to be the perfect length and the belt loops look just big enough for our favorite woven brown belt.
So now that we have the clothes, we could really use some sunshine.

Also a perfect short are the J Brand Cuff short. I caught them on sale in November ($70) and can't wait to wear them regularly. Perfect length and love the darker wash of them.
