Agyness Deyn may be Britain's best dressed girl - at least according to Tatler and various mismatched teen rock fans - but with continued fame comes increasing scrutiny, and at least one concession:
The UK press are now reporting Agyness' age as 25 (as it should be, since she was born in 1983), and not 21 or 19, as previously reported by everyone from New York Magazine to Vogue.
The whole fuss over it seems silly anyway, but it's gratifying to see fashion taking a baby step towards admitting that a grown woman can be more alluring, more sexy, and dare we say it, more chic, than any sixteen year old playing dress-up in Givenchy.
Or, to borrow a phrase from Faran's mother:
"Why lie and say you're younger, and have people saying, 'That model's 19? But she looks so old!' Wouldn't you rather lie up and say you're older, and have the industry go, 'Wow, she's 30? But she looks so fresh!"
And then Agyness could reply, "It's the Burberry perfume that keeps me young, darling," and make even more money.

I never bought into the Agyness Age, but yes, yes, and yes.
