The Prada Cartoon!

Mar 10, 2008 @ 11:30am

Those who missed the Prada party during Fashion Week can still see its cause celebre (you know, besides Jessica Stam in a peachy puff dress) thanks to YouTube:

The Trembled Blossoms cartoon (sorry, animated art short) commissioned by Miuccia Prada and designed by artist James Jean and a studio of tech-savvy illustrators.

The movie is based on Miuccia's Spring '08 collection, which was both sultry and sprightly (or maybe just sprite-ly), and contained within its hems a series of naughty fairy princess illustrations that also make up the bulk of Miuccia's most recent ad campaign.

As for this film, it's more Persepolis than Disney, and if you have a very prudish boss, it's also not safe for work - think Jessica Rabbit, with less clothes and also less body fat.
