“When I go home at night I play Guitar Hero or listen to Billie Holiday. I’m amazing at Guitar Hero! I had it written into the show. I go to tournaments in Brooklyn and put fake tattoos all over my body so I look like a rock star. No, ’cause I am a rock star. I made it to the semi-finals once, but they didn’t have style points.” – Blake Lively, to NYLON.

Got Her: On Mercer, heading to the place to be today – the post office on Greene.
Stalked Her: Because we’ve never seen a real woman wear such an Olsen-esque piece of clothing and not look ridiculous.
Shot Her:Because beyond the fur and the plaid, she had on some pretty awesome jewelry like the lapis stone bracelet, a snake bangle and horsebit thingy. Plus, we love an oversized clutch.
She Says: “Thank god I killed that bear! (awkward silence) Just kidding! It’s totally fake. Um, I guess my style is homeless chic?”
We Say: The style’s actually called Olsen.

Adventures in Copyright: What Would Karl Say?
By Britt Aboutaleb
I spent yesterday afternoon daydreaming about that stars and stripes romper from Topshop.
It’s an obvious knock-off of Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel vision – but at least it’s not as direct a copy as this bag.
Designer Marc B is selling this “Oversized Quilted Chain Clutch” on the British chain site ASOS. The website likes to sell things “in the style of” Lindsay Lohan or Sienna Miller, but it rarely, if ever, rips off something as iconic as the Chanel 2.55 bag.
When we see such blatant rip-offs, we always wonder, who actually buys this stuff when there are a million adorable quilted vintage bags out there for a fraction of the price of this bad copy?
But then again, I’m buying the romper, and I bet Karl would think that’s a pretty bad rip-off…
Television star Alexa Chung has an interesting project in the works.
It seems that Alexa’s feeling major guilt over some Primark purchases and wants to do like a True Life: I Slave for 15p an Hour for Channel 4 in the UK.
Alexa says that she loves “affordable fashion but I’m questioning the real price of ¬£2 T-shirts and ¬£8 dresses…I wanted to experience the reality of conditions in some of the Asian factories that supply our retailers – and it’s an eye-opener.”
So she’s setting up a sweatshop in London’s Covent Garden, and making a group of fast-fashion lovers work sixty hours over five days to give them just a little taste of what it must be like to live and work in Houjie.
And of course, to make every Zara shopper on the planet feel like a criminal.
Obviously there are some big differences between working in a sweatshop for reality TV versus working in a sweatshop to support a family, but hey, it’s a step, no?
Don’t worry. He’s not designing his own clothing line.
But he is employed, which is a big improvement from last we saw him.
According to The New York Times’ The Moment, “the longhaired hipster who took toothy Audrina Patridge on countless thong-exposing motorcycle rides” has booked a job posing in Orthodox’s look book.
The Los Angeles men’s line “synthesizes street with civility” and is represented by People’s Revolution – what a Hollywood surprise.
The clothes are a little bit awkward and we’re pretty sure Whitney would have styled them better, but we’re thrilled Justin Bobby’s back on the scene and we hope he keeps booking jobs.
After all, his burps might have been the last real thing we saw on The Hills.
WHICH beloved ELLE editor is up for Nina’s old job? Here’s a hint: She has a major side-project in the works, as well…
