Quote of the Day

“After recently sitting close enough to Madonna at a restaurant in Mayfair to see the svelte star’s lunch of a single boiled egg, I wonder if the saying ‘Blondes have more fun’ is really true.” - Emily Zak, Vogue UK editor.

Definitely untrue... But natural blondes definitely take themselves less serious than the frauds. At her age I hope I've embraced life and my body enough to have at least 2 boiled eggs for lunch...

I think this is sooo pathetic, she should mind her own bloody buisness what a dumb comment.

Touchy touchy, Lala.

As long as Madonna strives to keep herself in the public eye, her public actions (such as a conspicuous 50 calorie "lunch" in a restaurant) will be a part of the public domain.

And I wish Madonna would eat something (more): if she insists on being on the cover of magazines, she should spare us the sight of her yicky concave thighs and haggard visage.

Maybe boiled eggs are the secert to Madonna's arms of steel... maybe if I had just a boiled egg for lunch instead of, say, an actual salad WITH a boiled egg, I'd have man-arms too!! Who am I kidding, I'm happy with my brown hair and flabby arms, thank you every much :)

Body builders eat a crapload of eggs. It's part of an omnivorous or vegetarian fitness diet. A woman with her physique does not get by on one egg a day. She probably eats an athlete's diet, which isn't usually on the menu at fancy restaurants. In those situations, you eat what you can and do your serious eating at home.

Come now guest 1:09. It's lunch time. I'm sure she's allowed a few veggies here and there. And body builders as you said "eat a crap load of eggs" not one, and definitely not one for lunch. Someone should tell Madonna about omlettes. I can't imagine being at a restaurant picking away at my lonely boiled egg.

The point is not really that she only ate at single egg, but why did she have to go to a restaurant to eat it? Does she not have 10 cooks to do it at home?

That's just silly, overindulgent and it's the kind of annoying thing that famous people think they should be able to get away with because they're famous.
