Did Jennifer Connelly set a celebrity precedent for Nicolas Ghesquière?

Because we were really hoping the brand would return to the good old days of real models and launch more girls like Hilary, Coco and Suvi.

We love Charlotte as much as the next francophile, fashion obsessed girl, but try as we might we just can't picture her wearing those razor sharp black dresses.

Maybe Carine can give her lessons in dominatrix like dressing?

Charlotte Gainsbourg has been rocking Balenciaga for a while and I'm sure she's going to kill it in the new campaign.
I just love her.

Carine already has already dedicated a whole issue of paris vogue to her two or three months ago! she was wearing a balenciaga runway outfit from ss08 on the cover and the whole magazine was full of her wearing ghesquière's designs. there was even an interview with NG where he explained how much he likes her! so i think it's rather weird that she has NOT been featured in any campaign yet!

I think she could totally do it. And frankly, I think she makes more sense that JC did. Not Jesus Christ, Jennifer.

She's a logical choice being friend/muse and all, but frankly I've never really thought Balenciaga suits her well. If she DOES do this, I seriously doubt it'll be as bad as when poor Connelly did it.

I actually think JC pulled it off pretty well. Though I gotta admit I was more impressed by the clothes which I think were Ghesquière's best ever! But the setting of the whole campaign was pretty nice. I could not imagine putting those 'armors' in some suburban neighborhood like they did in SS07. Well I'm kinda missin the topic here :D
