Is Sweet P Getting Her Own Show?

sweet p picture.jpgWe love when people just randomly spill things.

During a front row interview at LA Fashion Week, Sweet P let a little secret go - apparently she is in talks to get her own television show.

She wouldn't say exactly what, only that she would be the star but that it would not involve a Real World style cast house.

We're betting it's a Bravo show that follows her post-Project Runway to see if she makes it in fashion.

Or maybe a show that follows her starting a line with her new BFF Kit?

What have you guys heard?

Oh, I would watch the Sweet P show. She was one of my favorites, other than Christian. I didn't know Sweet P and Kit were BFFs! Are they really starting a line together?!

This kind of surprises me - I loved Sweet P, but I didn't find her the most engaging character or exceedingly talented as a designer. If they were looking for a runner-up to give a show, it should have been Chris Marsh.

it'll never come to fruition. reality stars are always in "talks" to do things, and then their 15 minutes dries up. --B

I agree with 11:37 re: Sweet P's personality and talent not really seeming well-suited for launching her into TV stardom.

I think I'd rather hear Rami's pensive musings... I could see him hosting a talk show, prying into peoples' minds.

seems strange that sweet p would get her own show over some of the other contestants.

my guess is that she'll host a make-over show for ex-biker chicks

She was so boring. I still don't know her point of view as a designer. I don't think she has one.

I love Sweet P!!! I loved her even more when I found out she was married!

As far as "personality" and "point of view" go, some television execs put Ted and Jaime from Queer Eye on the air, and both of them are as boring as bricks.

Sweet P has got a rebellious yet motherly vibe (remember what she told the Catholic school girls?) that would be fun for a show, if it happens.

are you guys serious? sweet p was one of the most entertaining people on the show. i always looked forward to seeing whatever antics she, christian, chris, kit, and jack were up together each week. and as for her designing, the collection she showed at bryant park was amazing and way more cohesive and wearable than jillians. oh and the only time i would watch a show about rami would be if i wanted to fall asleep or if he found something else to talk about other than growing up in israel. sweet p's got a worldly, "i've been around town" kind of vibe yet still has a very fresh point of view and i'd love to hear more about her transformation from catholic school girl to tatooed hippie biker designer or watch a show about her life post-Project Runway trying to make it in the fashion business.

for better or worse, I know about a half a dozen reality-show contestants personally, and after getting kicked off, every one of them was "in talks" about their own show. To date I have seen exactly one of them on TV since, as an ocassional guest designer on Trading Spaces on TLC, woo-hoo... So take this rumor with a whole shaker of salt.
