Fashion Is Fun

It’s Like Google, But With a Better Outfit

Wednesday, Apr 30, 2008 / 11:07 AM

oscarbanner.jpgLaura from Men’s Health just alerted us to the coolest thing to happen to Google since G-chat.
You can personalize your homepage even more – and that doesn’t just mean choosing where your icons go – it means picking an entire designer or artist theme.
Options include fashion darling and artist Jeff Koons, Coldplay, glass-blower extraordinare Dale Chihuly, Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar De La Renta and signature Diane Von Furstenberg prints including the one from that dress we’re still obsessed with.
So now you have something to play with until lunch.
Enjoy!

god, i love google.

lol – c’mon guys, i have been using this for at least a year… hahahahahahahahahahahaahahhahahahaha

whoa, guest, don’t hurt yourself.
i just added the john maeda one, and it changes with how the sky looks throughout the day! so cool.

this personalization thing has been around since early 2007. they did just added cooler themes though; when it started you could only choose between 4 or 5 themes.

I use it & love it & am glad you discovered it…
even if it’s old news :)

how is this old? the designer backgrounds were revealed literally today. it’s true that google has had it so you can customize your site for a while, but not with these specific artist themes.

Yeah, what guest 8:30pm said.
Thank you for the tip! I didn’t realize these new artist themes were up!
I wish Todd Oldham’s was more exciting.
My pick: Oscar de la Renta
Also: Tory Burch has a Google app? Weird.
