i had to fast forward through most of it.... dull. that said, she looks good in the video, not scary thin at all compared to many of the young models these days. i hate to say this, because there are more people trying to lose weight than gain weight, but LEAVE US THIN PEEPS ALONE. i went to the doctor last week for abdominal discomfort and the doctor couldn't get past the fact that i'm under 100 pounds (come on, i'm a petit gal) and kept making suggestive comments. and she would not believe that i've never been over 100 pounds my whole life even though i eat like 5 meals a day totally more than 2000 calories. it's called small bones, a fast metabolism, and genetics.

I'm calling bullshit on your "surprise" at her bony ass, too. She has a tiny frame. I am 5'6" and weigh 107, no matter what. I eat all day. My bones stick out, esp. on my back. I imagine she has the same thing going on (as do many models I'm guessing).
Some people are just preternaturally thin. And I am "shocked" that you are having a problem with this considering all of the talk and praise of models who are so tiny you can see their femurs.

No but keep in mind that Kate ushered in heroin chic back in the early nineties. And she was tiny compared to the supermodels of that era. I love Kate, and think she's beautiful and probably naturally small, but you're silly if you think that the massive amount of uppers don't help in the skinniness category. I think she was probably about as skinny as current models (the skeletal Stam being one of them) but is several inches shorter so it isn't as scary looking.

Although I understand what other people are saying in defense of her being so thin, Kate Moss is 34 and has a kid. Yeah, a lot of us are 105 at age 22, but I certainly am not now. I think it's unhealthy and unnatural for her to be so thin at 34... Stam's only what, 23? With a 10 + year difference you can't compare her to the young models.

What's wrong with being 34 and thin?.. Is it all suppose to go downhill after you have kids? Suppose to hit a 'certain' weight once you hit your 30's??.. What do you mean you didn't notice, she has always been a cracked out skeleton. And yes she is a unsexy level of skinny, just like there is a unsexy level of fat (aka obese).
And what is with the video? It is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I kept watching because I thought at some point she would show off more interesting underwear.

enough about kate's body. she's hot ok? that's why she's on everything. but wtf is going on in this video? i feel like i'm really out of touch with the "art" side of fashion right now. like the whole posh spice irony and marc jacobs ads. i just don't get anything anymore.
actually, the video released about the shooting for kate's ysl campaign was awesome in my opinion. i like that kind of video art.
