I like Schnabel's jewelry better but Kidman's hair and purse better. I think the dress looks good on both, though....

Olatz. That deep a red does not flatter Kidman's chalkiness tone and dishwater blond hair. Also, my perception of the prototypical YSL femme is sultry, tan, and slightly exotic looking. Bianca Jagger being the prototype.

And yes, I know that Karen Elson totally made it work in her campaign for them a few years back, despite her pallid skin tone. But that's because Elson is magical.

Definitely Nicole Kidman. The contrast of the bright red against her pale skin is stunning. Also, the dress simply looks more appealing on Nicole's body.
It looks too orange on Olatz. Not to mention the squished cleavage combined with that tacky necklace is overkill.

Olatz. Olatz is sexy and artistic and interesting. Nicole is beautiful woman, but that's about it.

Olatz Schnabel. Nicole is not attractive, nothing pretty about her IMO.

I say Nicole too. But I have never seen a woman in her seventh month of pregnancy look like this. There is hardly a trace of a bump. Where is her belly?

Is it fine to say neither? I dare Nicole to make her face move.

Pregnant woman wins, always. Even if her "bump" is invisible at 7 months.

Schnabel. I completely agree with RayBay.
Plus NK's alien-look-alike factor makes everything she wears look like a joke to me.

personally, I like the red on nicole's pale skin tone, I think olatz has too much red in her skin, and the red of the dress doesn't really pop. Not to mention I think I owned that necklace olatz is wearing when I was in middle school...

I just hope that one day America realizes that naturally pale skin is actually beautiful, and that frying (and prematurely aging) your skin to look more "exotic" is kinda pathetic. Redheads were not meant to look tanned. I don't like Nicole, and do agree she looks like an alien. But I was hoping that, in 2008, we would be smart enough about health and realistic enough about beauty not to comment on so-called "chalky" skin.

nicole kidman, obviously. there really is no competition. olatz makes the dress look so average while on kidman it looks absolutely glamourous. you have to be blind to not to see that.

Guest 10:41:

Chalk-, or milk-, white skin can be beautiful. Karen Elson, Dita Von Teese, Rose McGowan: these are just three examples.

I just think this shade of red is wrong on Nicole, especially with her hair dyed this shade. It is NOT her natural hair color, and it makes her look washed out and, honestly, rather sickly.

I also don't think paler skin needs to be championed quite so much. All the top girls, cept Chanel Iman, are pale as pale can be.

I hate the tanorexic look, I do.

But I think Olatz is naturally dusky and olive toned in her complexion. Much like my own mother, who does not tan, but always looks it. It's a characteristic of Mediterranean, semitic, and Hispanic origin, which unfortunately seems to be thought of as less classy in the world of fashion (and the media in general).

And don't even pretend to know what I mean by the word "exotic".

Dita Von Teese and Rose McGowan actually use lighter makeup...they aren't all that pale. (Check the hands)

As for the dress, neither.
