just spoke to maman, and by the sounds of things (she kept this for my "archive") it *is* s. vlaming in this past weekend's Financial Times...FT weekend.
I'm so happy I have seen these now! My mother raved on about this editorial for an hour.

hey- yes, it's from "How to Spend It," which is a monthly magazine insert in the weekend edition of the Financial Times, which is a British paper.
