Sex and the City Gets a MySpace; We Get Annoyed

Apr 18, 2008 @ 12:30pm

satc myspace.jpgWe're all for Sex and the City spoilers, but MySpace comments?

Not so much.

So imagine our "oh ick" moment this morning, when the official Sex and the City MySpace left us a comment - a giant photo of SJP eating pizza that said, "Hey, it's Carrie. Need to talk about Big. Maybe over pizza?"

Maybe over our puking bodies?

Of course we'd expect a major motion picture to have its own MySpace. It's just the pretending-they're-Carrie and the leaving-pizza-comments that gets a little out of hand.

So although we're thrilled to see the movie when it finally premieres, here's what we're going to tell this silly MySpace campaign:

We're just not that into you.

Doesn't it make you wonder how old the marketing person is that came up with this idea?

I'd say 50 years old.

Oh GOD thats awful...But I wouldn't mind a hilariously dirty comment from "Samantha" gracing my profile.

I couldn't agree more. In fact it was the odd/arrogant treatment of the designers who contributed to the movie that led Gilles Montezin to want to do a wonderful interview with us at his studio rather than PAY the producers for coverage (if you can believe that) I'd love your feedback. Thanks, Jean Voute Pratt

i think you need to understand that if carrie were a real person she would probably leave comments of this annoying nature. i think it's really funny, especially since SJP is so gross.
