Cute, Creative and a Little Bit Creepy

babybobbypins.jpgWe just stumbled upon the best vendor ever on Etsy.

The Lovely Teaspoon makes the kind of random, creative little plastic baubles you find in trinket stores in mini towns on the way to somewhere isolated.

There are G.I. Joe earrings, Barbie shoes strung on necklaces, dinosaur rings, a Bambi pin, Lego pieces in the vein of Marc by Marc and our favorite, the plastic baby bobby pins to the left.

It's the kind of playful jewelry that's perfect for summer when you're hot and sweaty and running from the pool to free concerts and don't want to worry about anything you're wearing. And there are a few pieces that wouldn't look out of place on Jeremy Scott's runway.

We wish we'd thought to do such creative things with our leftover childhood doodads.

The Lovely Teaspoon was a vendor for the Contemporary Arts Center's holiday bazaar this year, and her stuff was a total hit. Plus, she's sweet as pie!
