Agyness + Christopher Breakup: Confirmed?

agyness deyn sunglasses.jpgA couple weeks ago, we shared with you guys that Agyness was no longer going to be the Burberry girl starting next season.

Now everyone’s in a tizzy over that Metro UK article where an “insider” spills that Testino has dropped Agyness not because girls are dropped from campaigns all the time, but specifically because he thinks she’s “over-exposed”.

And the girl said to be her replacement? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a 21-year old that the British press has been swearing is the next Kate Moss since 2004, and Christopher Bailey’s date to the Met ball earlier this month.

Can a girl best known for modeling underwear replace the quirky Agyness?

It looks like we’re about to find out.

If it is true that Agyness was dropped from Burberry and Testino respectively, im devastated. But I have to admit, it might be time for a change. Hopefully she was let go on good terms and not because she was just too"quirky" to last forever.

I'm sorry, but I'm so over Agyness. She's everywhere. A few months ago, she just proliferated the media, and frankly I know no clue why. She's being spread a little too thin, so I'm glad Burberry and she are going their separate ways.

I'm really tired of seeing her non-posing poses everywhere. I wasn't impressed when she was "discovered" and I'm even less impressed now. Was that too harsh?

Although I've always loved fashion, I've only recently been concerned with the ins and outs, models, photogs, etc, etc, and I really fell in love with Agyness. I don't want to see her disappear to quickly.

Honestly I've never understood the appeal of Agyness. First of all we all know her real name is Laura Hollins so she can drop the fake name. She has like 4 poses and 5 faces which I guess is all you need but when you're cast in freaking everything it gets boring to look at FAST. So she dresses like every hipster in Boston and chopped and bleached her hair. I know so many girls who look exactly like her, who looked like her before anyone knew who she was, AND who probably don't even know who she is now. It's boring and not original. Just my personal opinion. I know you guys fawn over her but I just find her annoying and definitely overexposed.

That Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is nothing compared to Kate Moss!!! I hope Lily Donaldson continues with Burberry because together, they are perfecto!

i don't see how anyone can be dissing agyness; she is obviously not the one who can overexpose herself! it's the designers and the photographers. besides, who cares if you think she's just like any other hipster and that other girls had her haircut before she had it???? christopher baily and mario testino didn't give the other girls a second glance, but instead dug AGYNESS(or laura hollins, what-everrr?). and now they're throwing out what they exploited. oh well, aggy might talk like a dumb blonde but i can see she's sweet so she'll pull through.

this rosie girl on the other hand is bleh, i wiki-ed her and looks like she had her (relatively small) big hit back in '05 - '06. for s/s '08 she only walked Allegra Hicks, Ashish, Asprey, Basso & Brooke, Gavin Douglas, Issa, Julia Clancy, Kristian Aadnevik, Unconditional

Nothing against Agyness here (I kind of liked her too) but I think Rosie is great too. Come on, she walked for Vctoria's Secret, that's gotta count for something. And yeah, I think it's refreshing to have someone new.
