The first additions to the Seventh Avenue Fashion Walk of Fame - after a five year hiatus - have finally been chosen.
Diane von Furstenberg (Fashionista’s pick!) and Liz Claiborne will be added to the Walk, alongside Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Mainbocher, Rudi Gernreich and the rest.
DVF and Liz Claiborne’s names will be imprinted on star-shaped plaques along with one original design from each.
We expect Diane to show up in her wrap dress, but we were half-worried at the thought that Tim Gunn could be the recipient for Liz’s award - thankfully, her widower, Arthur Ortenberg, will walk the ceremony in her place, hopefully in red.
