When you work at a shoe store and get a big discount, you'll end up with a closet full, there's nothing wrong with that.. I LOVE shoes.

I think as you get older, the more shoes you will eventually own. So by the time I'm 40, maybe I will have 100 pairs of shoes!

taken out of context any quote can sound trite and entitled, but she IS in the fashion industry so it's not really a big deal.

I agree, give Gis a break. I mean Imelda Marcos was pilloried in the 80s for having 3,000 pairs of shoes, turns out she only had about 1,000, plus they were mostly super-fugly.

I probs only have about 40 pairs meeself, but I am repetitive and buy things for the long haul. I am dedicated to shoe repair/the cobbler.

She should really speak for herself. Not all women find shoes exciting or important. I could care less about shoes and only have the ones that are necessary.
