I don't get what the big deal is, so what if they are posting about Forever 21 knocking off designers clothing. I find it to be interesting, and I have never once purchased anything thats posted in Adventures in Copyrights.. usually because Forever 21's vary a lot-- but I really don't see what the big deal is.

the big deal is that they barely cover anyone else. I wouldnt mind it, as long as they had some variety.
I just see alot of knocking off. I send it in to them too, and its not just forever 21.
but even so, isn't there more important diverse fashion coverage out there?
up and coming designers?
fashion parties?
crazy art shows?
more street style pics please!

Keep the knock off reports coming! I really appreciate it - I can spot most, but not always. I'm very much opposed to these direct ripoffs and consider it a service to keep us informed. I will always avoid putting money in the pockets of companies that steal intellectual property.

Lord KNOWS I adore this site (I'm in class as we speak, and I'm still making time to check out what you ladies have been up to today)....
That being said, I have to agree that the Forever 21 rip-off acknowledgements are starting to a little old. It's like beating a dead horse already, we know, we know, Forever 21 rips off EVERYONE and their mother, but there are definately OTHER chains that do the same thing. I love seeing the comparisions, but do a little more digging (which isn't that hard, trust me) and you'll come up with a ton of other retailers that rip off big name designs on a regular basis...
Now, back to paying attention to my professor (blah blah blah)....

"one of these commenters must work for forever 21. i bet they even design for them. ahhahahahhhha"
Kenya now don't use the word "design" so loosely ahahahaha! It's hard for me to hate on the copycats sometimes but in this case I'm going to hate a little....the Forever 21 version is FUG

Fashionista,
I love you! But I must admit i'm somewhat over the F21 copycat love. Nine West, Steve Madden and others knockoff too. Alot of commercial companies knock off high end designers.
Please give me something more interesting. Give me something about Marc Jacobs gossip, streetwalkers and fashion gossip.

HauteTopicTumblr, does that mean you dont' wear marc jacobs because i believe they did a piece on one of his silk squares that looks mighty identical to another designer.
Guest 6:44.. They are almost the same.. the front is the same but hte back is different and if this is the case, i would save myself the money and buy the less expensive one.. but then again, i would never had known it was juicy if i saw it in f21 and if i saw the price tag on juicy's, would never have looked at it again... INSTEAD.. I would go looking for something similiar anyway.. that's where f21 comes in.. so anyway you look at it.. f21 rocks!

honestly i love fashionista and i absolutely hate f21 but i don't read the blog habitually to see what designer's f21 has ripped off. i know they are a bunch of dirty cheaters, and their clothes are really tacky and cheap.
please, maybe take a break from f21 like you've taken a break from the hills? i love you, fashionista!

Dear Fashionista - I love you guys. really i do. but can i just say...
HOLY HECK!
its as if you want people to go out and buy this stuff.
forever 21 should be paying you. this is getting ridiculous.
cut it out with the forever 21 mongering! find a new retailer that knocks stuff off, everyone does it.
there is no originality left in this world available to the masses!!!! please deal with it.
