Some British general from an area called Cardigan. Boring.

Only Chuck could make my dad's Sunday golf outfit look young and hip.

The 7th Earl of Cardigan, James Thomas Brudenell. Strangely, this is just one of those pieces of trivia that will get me nowhere in life but that I just know.

Seriously? Don't people see that it has already been answered? Is there really a need to repeat the same thing 10 times?

dear fashionista,

the you say gossip, i say girl! is fabulous, the chuckness is even more fabulous. but i am dying for a gossip girl post with some beef in it. ( and dear fashionista readers who don't love gossip girl, get on it, stat! you're seriously missing out ) i totally understand that fashionista isn't a gossip girl fansite, but please oh please try and stuff as much chuck ( especially chuck ) and gg into my daily programming. as a religious fashionista reader ( seriously, i pined to be an intern but had no means of nyc ), not only every other post but especially the gossip girl posts are the highlight of my workday! i've already dubbed my tuesdays chuck tuesdays ... and i love it. keep on keepin' on, because we'd all be devastated if you didn't!

xoxo,
moi

An old J Crew catalogue taught me that The Earl of Cardigan wanted his troops to have lightweight layer underneath their armor, I believe. Funny how the stupid things I learn actually come back to help me later!
