But isn't that just it? "Ri Ri" (wtf?!)always looks put together... thanks to her stylists I'm sure. Blake on the other hand, throws together a few things lying around and voila! Effortless beauty is much more charming and confident than "Ri Ri"s look. I have yet to be convinced that "Ri Ri" is anything other than the product of a good team of publicits, stylists and Hova himself. Yes she has nice legs, but strip her down and she's really just all fluff and no substance. like cotton candy... and we all know the shelf life of good ole bag of cotton candy, don't we.

to Softel: your comments about Rihanna are all VERY TRUE. but let's not 4get frumpy Blake from the "Traveling Pants" days. & let's not act like GG didn't give her the FASHION UPGRADE of a LIFETIME.
so i think in terms of these two, they're neck-in-neck with the authenticity of their style. but MY vote is with RIHANNA. i mean DID YOU SEE that guiseppe zanotti purple & black lace up boot she had on a while back?! that can't be denied!! :)

Ggggghhhhh, you're right. *Arrggg* I'll just come out and say it: I'm a HUGE Rihanna hater. Rihanna and her big forehead blow chunks and I'd side with anyone over her. Her style is pretty killer but I just refuse to give her credit for any of it. I know we're talking fashion but come ON! A song about an umbrella is what put her on the map! Why am I the only person pissed about this?! I choose Blake over Rihanna because I don't expect any authentic creativity on the part of tv/movie actors... Musicians on the other hand... *sigh* Why am I even using that word... Never mind.
and I did see the lace up boots... did you have to bring that up!?! :(

Umbrella didn't put rihanna on the map, she was around like a good 3-4 years before that. I think it's safe to assume most people in the public eye use a stylist from time to time, so there's no need to come down on rihanna so hard. My vote's for her, it's time there's a girl to rep for the large forhead-ed. Blake's all right too

Even though I like BLAKE more, I am going with Rihanna on this one. We featured her today on "don't ever change."

LMAO at people thinking Blake's look is put together. Most of the girls on gossip girl are looking mighty fine thanks to stylists. Rhi Rhi is always on point these days.

love em both, but sorry ladies, i have more style than both of you combined in my little finger. what's that you say? then why am i anonymously commenting on fashion blogs wearing sad-looking juicy terrycloth sweats and a stained $10 urban outfitters t-shirt? good question...

i like them both, but i say blake for the win. the color of rihanna's pants are gross. that and i think blake is so adorable.
can we not call rihanna "ri ri"?

i luv blake but i am a rihanna lover first, rihanna has this type of aura about her that makes you wonder if she's real, she's like all of the characters in mystories put together in one hot vixen-ish package bottom line rihanna rocks

i'm sort of over blake... ever since i read an article in which it was revealed she refuses to have her picture taken/ speak to reporters before hair and makeup, i think the whole "low-key" thing is much more character based (i.e. we all see her as Serena, and love her for that). Guess I prefer Leighton/blair? also, Blake rarely moves her upper lip when she does that irritating pouty voice and it KILLS me.
