A lot of people like to say that New York City is the fifth character, or “lady”, on Sex and the City.
We never knew if that was sweet or corny as hell, but here’s what we do know - against all logic, the SATC movie is not premiering in New York City (as our British friends at Catwalk Queen have been speculating for a while now), and not because it’s first coming out at Cannes.
No, it’s premiering in London, at Leicester Square, on May 12, two weeks before anyone in NYC can see it. Why? We have no idea.
There’s still going to be a huge party at Radio City Music Hall on May 27, but will it be the same after our overseas friends send us taunting e-mails and voice messages about everything that happens?
