"You will have a Vogue wedding... Vogue photographers. Vogue makeup artists. Vogue airbrushing." -- the best line of the Sex and the City movie, as said by Candace Bergen.

Sarah Chivonne: I feel the same way. I'm seeing it tomorrow, but it's like, good gracious already! I love the Candace Bergen character. I really wish though that Anna had agreed to do it herself. I mean, I know she's busy and all, but how awesome would all of Candace's lines as Enid have been if they were coming out of Anna's mouth?

it's not as though you actually have to watch the movie next to the two mid-west housewives during their "wine night out"...jeez, lighten up!

Not to be a bitch, but how bad did Candace look? Also, I was disappointed for sure.
And the best line was definitely "I curse the day you were born."

I went to a midnight screening (because I am both a total "Girl" and a total movie geek). My fellow movie goers tried to ruin my life with all the tutus and calling each other by character names and taking pictures in the theater and wearing ridiculous shoes and bags. But overall the film was Lovely (i.e. Light and sweet and fun, like SJP's perfume)

... there was the LOUDEST gasp when an inflated candice bergen appeared on the screen. a personal highlight. beside the girl sitting beside me taking pics of her OWN Manolos (the ones that retailed at $495, lol.) that she, no doubt, dug out of some sample sale for the SATC hoopla. excelllllent movie. MVP: miranda.

That's hilarious that people went in tutus, no one did that at times square theater that I saw.
"I curse the day you were born!" was definitely fantastic!

I really wanted to leave the city this weekend to avoid the grossness that is the sad, sad women that are making girls' nights out of this film...too bad, since I would like to see the clothes. Check out links and comments on gawker for hilarious commentary on the incoming hordes. It's making me feel like I can't wear cute shoes out this weekend or everyone will think I'm one of them (i know that is not normal, and I am a paranoid weirdo). I actually think it is funny-sad, so no one tell me to lighten up!

You girls should be glad you live in a place where girls aren't afraid to dress like girls. Here, everyone wears flip flops and birkenstalks--no matter the occasion.

uhmm why does it matter if women have girls' nights out to go see the movie? it's not like you're going to take your boyfriend.
stop being so snobby. not everyone has the money to actually wear the clothes SJP does, or even cares what label she is wearing - some people actually watched the show for its characters and plot lines, NOT just to harangue about what carrie was wearing.

I cannot believe how bad this movie is: the two Ls? Sick, sad, and so very unsexy.
