aic geren ford forever 21.jpg Fact: We've been fans of Geren Ford ever since they became a regular on ShopBop.

Fact: We really don't like knock offs, especially when they're of designers that are still trying to establish themselves.

So we were pretty annoyed when reader Sabrina sent in this Forever 21 take on Geren Ford's Ruffle Dress, at left.

Forever's is basically a carbon copy except for a slightly smaller opening at the neck with a safer color choice.

We're not really fans of the original dress anyway, but since when is Geren Ford on F21's radar?

I agree with fashionista on this one I'm not a fan of either dress. The placement of the ruffles are very unflattering

Both of these dresses actually show very close resemblance to Robert Rodriguez’s cascading ruffle dress…

I was kind of liking this dress until it was referred to as the "labia dress" :) But not even all the labia dresses in the world could give me the will power to step into Forever 21. Place gives me a splitting headache each and every time.

somehow this geren ford seems slightly less egregious since i feel certain this dress must've existed in some form in some disco on some dance floor well before geren ford did.

they are actually both a rip off of 3.1 Phillip Lim's Yellow Siamese Fish Dress.
