Even Models Go To Sample Sales

Freja Fashionista alumna Sabrina and Natalie had a good little sighting at the Alexander Wang Sample Sale:

They saw Freja Beha Erikson, the model who opened Alex's last runway show, stopping by to chat.

Freja and Alex hung out among the shoppers for a good 20 minutes, and the former face of Chanel even rooted through cashmere sweaters, silk dresses, and "f*** me" jeans (Alex's term, not ours!).

Seriously, between Julia RR, Charlotte Ronson, Freja, and the hordes of fashion editors flocking to this sale today, it's feeling a lot less like a shopping experience and more like the beginning of a night at Upstairs!

I love Freja! Is her hair still really short? She needs to be in another editorial or campaign soon. Feel like I haven't heard anything about her in a while.

The tone of this post is so elitist, i just had to comment. A night at Upstairs? You guys are just so cool, it makes me green with envy (written while lol). Why are you so impressed with all these people?

I agree that club dropping is kind of lame. And when are these people ever at Upstairs? I certainly have never seen them. They all probably stopped going weeks ago, like me, when they heard they'd filmed an episode of "The Hills" there. Not cool.

Maybe if you saw all these people at the same time at his private pre-sale (did he have one) that would be impressive.

of course alex had a pre-sell. This sample sale was well worth it. I walked away with several dresses and a scarf, only to pay under $1000. If anyone has time I highly recommend you run down there. And if your lucky you may see the man himself. He comes out every now and again.... love it!

I saw the designer himself on my way out of the sale! He was crossing Canal on his way back, I think. Needless to say I was in utter awe and probably looked like an idiot.
