Oo LOVE this, thanks! Though I can't believe how skinny Natasha and Lily look in this shoot. Everyone knows they're skin and bones, but in this shoot it does look a little awkward.

yeah, it kind of looks like they were all sitting behind the camera like, "hmm, what does this need? ...i know, a breast! doutzen, NOW!"

i adore this spread. the elegance and the gaucherie, together. it's imperfect and lovely and oui, so french.
i want eiffel tower panties now.

I'm not crazy about it. Bought French Vogue today and thought, hmm, something's not right. As others have already said, they look skinny and over-made up. The make-up's making them look a bit...haggard?

I don't even know why they try to do editorials with a zillion models anymore. These pages don't even come close to the spreads in the '90s with lots of models together. All lined up, they were glamorous, glowing and smiling, each with her own unique look (do a Google image search for "vogue january 1990). None of this chicken-bones, expressionless, clones-of-each-other stuff.

I can definatley see how the creaters of the shoot thought that a spread with the top models of the day would rock, but somehow it just doesn't work. And the extreme emaciated look (of Lily Donaldson especially) is very unattractive. Doesn't make me want the clothes.

ok, i agree that it is weird that these girls are even capable of looking 40 considering how young they are, but the goal was clearly to make them look that way -- part of the french sleaze/gaucherie thing other commenters mentioned...
...and we obsess over the (hilarious) boob action w/ nary a mention of the crotch shot?!

I feel like the photo shoot focuses more on the models than the actual clothes, which kind of just blend into the background. Lily and Sasha look lovely, but they really need to fatten up! But overall, I like the classic, yet sexy and audacious feel of the clothes--just wish i could see them better!

I feel like they emphasized the "skinny drone" angle a little too much... the girls get a little lost in the LEGS! BONES! RAZOR-SHARP CLAVICLES! clamor which I think all parties who made this spread are capable of going beyond.
But, it's still really fun seeing them together. Glam, moody, etc.

it's true, lily is waaaay too skinny, but what else is new? get her off that pinkberry!
but doutzen and sasha's thighs are way bigger than originally thought. i think they actually look pretty healthy...i mean, comparatively. and @ commenter from 10:58pm....i don't think that just because all the girls are white makes them look identical. c'mon, sasha is way cooler than catherine mcneil.

haha guest at 7:05, i thought the same thing. who's crotch do we think that is?
i love the spread....reminded me of 80s too
sasha's legs are big only compared to the rest of her..there is a pic of her in the front of the magazine in only a bra that is kind of scary.
and whats so wrong with catherine mcneil? i like her

They are supposed to reference famous parisian high class call girls from the mid 70s lol !
The story works very well.
Sleazy glamour meets classic French. Fabulous. :-)))

I kind of don't like it. Is that really weird?
