Rachel Zoe for Harper's Bazaar

Despite the recent Rachel Zoe/Anna Wintour fashion feud, Harper's Bazaar has had no qualms in taking in the stray fashionista. I guess editor-in-chief, Glenda Bailey, wants to cause a little ruckus in the fashion world. I overheard Ms. Bailey and another editor discussing a shoot styled by, da duh da duh, Ms. Zoe herself.

Will her first editorial styling gig put her up top with the likes of Brana Wolf or confirm that she should stick to dressing Hollywood starlets? My guess is...the latter. The issue should be out this fall.

Something about this e-mail really makes us wish Gossip Girl was still on...

Um she's the fashion editor for the "What's Next" editorials with the Estee Lauder Sensuous perfume faces in the July Bazaar with Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover...didn't anyone already notice that??

I'm kinda excited to see what she can do as far as editorial styling...she probably is thinking that is her last chance to get back on the good side of the fashion industry. At any rate I love her book, I hope she picks herself back up. If not...oh well back to Hollywood.

...something about her really puts me off...she's soo anorexic-ally thin and her hollywood gals usually seem to follow suit...is it just me or does it seem that styling young celebrities is exceptionally easy?

I miss the catfights, the cute clothes, and most of all...Chuck.
I can't wait until it returns in September!
Oh, wait, we were talking about Rachel Zoe, weren't we? Sorry, I got sidetracked thinking about the best show known to man...

I believe Rachel Zoe styled Anne Hathaway for the current InStyle. I guess that's just because AH is her client, though. Tangent: I found the AH article kind of irritating. Simon Doonan didn't ask any really interesting questions (shocking), and AH didn't give any really interesting answers.

I noticed that too, guest at 11:31 pm. There's no words to describe how shocked I was to flip through my Bazaar and see "Rachel Zoe" credited as the 'fashion editor' of the editorial with Carolyn Murphy in it.

Rachel Zoe may have "styled" the looks in HB's July issue but did any one notice it was all total looks of each designer..that's not styling...at all.

Zoe has also styled for GIANT a few years back. That won't be her first editorial assignment.

She's bad. I don't really think she has vision. Dressing everyone in throwback clothing that mimic what you, yourself, wear is not inventive.
I dunno... I'm dubious.

Actually she styles for V, so she has done editorial work...still with celebs though.

i saw her story and it sucked

shes good at styling celebs in mags but duh..editorial--id steer clear, zoe.

i really like zoe. she is my favorite stylist. i dont get what everyone is saying. why wouldnt she be good at editorial? she did a revolve clothing stint last winter, and it was, like everything else she styles, beautiful. and i read her book, and it was so great and true.
