Streetwalker: Cute To a T-Strap

Jun 12, 2008 @ 3:33pm

Jacklyn, 23, fashion department at The Golden Touch

Got Her: Eating lunch with a friend in Bryant Park.

Stalked Her: Because her bright, printed dress stood out among the hordes of business people strolling Fifth Avenue. Plus, it's perfect for today's milder weather.

Shot Her: Because we're starting to notice more T-strap heels stomping the streets and her patent pair are particularly cute.

She Says: "It's such an amazing day outside. I just hope I'm not a fashion don't!"

We Say: Beautiful day. Bryant Park. Cute outfit. How long until Fashion Week?

Hmmm. I don't know. It kind of makes her look like an 80s girl who shops at Kmart.

Not a huge fan of the outfit but do love the t-straps. Can we discuss the bangs? I'm starting to think they might be way over.

i'm pretty sure that dress is from the "Elle" section a Kohl's. The pattern is ok, but it's way too big, even with the belt.

This outfit and hair is so 80's. And it's not a good thing.

great legs! she looks a bit odd, but quite sexy. and it's not just the short dress, it's her smile, her happy demeanor and warm energy, and the fact that most girls in a stylish dress will look somewhat class (whereas a cut-off jeans skirt can look more tarty)

Love the dress. Love the shoes.

The hair is problematic.

Love the shoes on her. Not sure they would look good on me though. A nice breezy dress for a warm breezy day.

She is gorgeous! I think her legs look great in a t-strap shoe. The dress looks current and comfortable. It's a smart look on a confident and beautiful girl!

Not mad keen. Makes her shoulders look unnecessarily large, and then she just sort of tapers down to her shoes. Maybe it'd be better without that particular belt, and with different shoes. She has a great figure but the dress fights with it . . .

Her hair and smile remind me of the dental hygenist/assistant from Empty Nest. I think I might be dating myself here, but I loved that show so I love her!

Wow! I think she's got it altogether. And her smile sure is the perfect compliment to the entire outfit. However, I must say, that I think she probably looks great in anything she wears...even a potato sack! Wish I had that flare for fashion!!!! Bet she has a really cute boyfriend too!

This look could really be pulled together if her hair was longer and straightened without bangs, she lost the high waisted belt, and chose different shoes. I was thinking ballet flats or wedges maybe. It has a lot of potential, just a few changes would help.

The hair, the pattern and the wannabe puffy sleeves make her look old and outdated. The style of the shoes just don't seem to go with this outfit either. T-straps are harder to pull off, especially if you are short like me. Cuts the eye off too quick at the ankles. I'll pass.

The whole matching shoes/belt thing is cute...but the dress is so bright that it is making me go blind.
