"What's a Liger?"

I was at the Webby's last night at Cipriani's. Rachel Zoe's husband is one of the guys who runs it so she was there and my friend saw her in the bathroom. Here is what she heard:

She (Rachel) was on the phone saying someone (who worked for her I believe), was sketching a dress and realized the color wasn't quite gold and wasn't quite silver....so she named it gilver. She says they're going to get that term patented!

Too funny, pass it on.

You don't patent invented terms, you copyright them. What an idiot...

Gilver is actually a common jewelry term, so I'm not sure that it can be patented.

i don't even think you can copyright a word, i'm pretty sure you have to trademark it.

regardless, rachel zoe is an idiot.
