Wow!!! She really did gain weight. Good for her for not starving herself. Her career will only go down from here.
If you're not naturally a waif you should not be a fashion model in this industry right now.
Fads come and go; in a few more years we'll have Cindy's, & Naomi's back on the runway.

Wait. I'm sorry (@ 10:51) but "She really did gain weight."????
I understand she struggled with an eating disorder, but this girl isn't exactly a champion for healthy-looking women in the fashion industry. She is still INCREDIBLY skinny and her BMI is probably only around 17. MAYBE 17.5 (Which, last time I checked, is still underweight).

Guest at 3:26, you're right that weight is not an accurate representation of health but the BMI isn't accurate either. It looks at weight and height only.
It does not account for fat, muscle or the overall health of the person. You can have a low BMI and still be healthy (like a couple friends of mine) or have a high BMI and still be healthy (like me).

this article is helpful.
Props to Ali for not letting the French Fashion Week losers get her down.

I absolutely love Ali Micheal. The way that she faced up to her eating problems and overcame both anorexia and bulimia even with the pressures of the industry on her shoulders. The way that she was sent home from Paris was brutal and these photos show that even when she is slightly larger than before she still looks as, if not more, beautiful and can still model. She's an inspiration to me.
