We don’t really read Glam.com – too much pink – but this is interesting from a business standpoint nonetheless:
The web conglomerate is almost ready to launch their own British version of the site, presumably called Glam.co.uk.
The new venture will be helmed on the editorial side by Ally Pyle, the super-cool staff writer from Vogue.co.uk, and should be up and running by London Fashion Week.
The new addition comes as Glam’s US editor – and, confession, one of our favorite women in the business – Susan Cernek leaves to work at Glamour. Susan used to work for Anne Slowey at ELLE with Jenny Feldman, who also works at Glamour now, but that’s a whole other story.
Anyway… British girls, you’ve been warned: Lots of pink is coming at you!

I use Google Reader to follow Glam.com–no pink that way. And I have nothing but good things to say about them, since I won a Rebecca Minkoff purse just by commenting when they were doing their summer giveaways.
