Lily Cole to Rimmel

lily cole makeup.jpg Everyone's known for quite some time that British pop queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor was set to be one of the new faces of Rimmel, under momma Kate's reign.

But WWD confirmed another face this morning, the one that may or may not be edging Kate out of her spot at Agent Provocateur, Lily Cole.

Apparently, Kate will always be in her own ads, so Sophie and Lily will have to learn how to share ad space.

We wonder if Rimmel's planning on expanding into at-home hair color. Couldn't you see an ad with Sophie (the brunette), Kate (the sort-of blonde) and Lily (the red) talking about bounce and shine?

That is, if Kate deigned to be only 1/3 of a page.

am i the only one that thinks that Lily Cole isn't sexy enough to be advertising for Agent Provocateur... or even Rimmel for that matter?
in all honesty, she scares me.

considering how much lighting work, make up, and photoshop will surely be used, does it really even matter if she is actually sexy? with enough photoshop anyone looks good.

Kate is the ultimate London style girl.
She is Rimmel. I do not think anyone is better than her promoting the kind of way Rimmel is following.
Since now Rimmel was a bit rock, street, girly, sexy.
Because all these adj are Kate.
Who the hell would buy it (having in mind this sort of model) if is Lily promoting?
