Miranda's Making Waves

Jul 11, 2008 @ 3:20pm

miranda kerr.jpgMiranda Kerr might have been named the 10th highest paid model by Forbes this year, but we still know her as the Victoria's Secret girl who dates Orlando Bloom and once popped up in a Pharrell video.

In fact, she doesn't even have a Style.com profile.

So if her one major gig pays that much, she probably shouldn't be posing for another swimsuit label on the side.

Yet, she's the face of Seafolly, an Australian beachwear brand we came across online featuring a banner of Mirandas against the ocean.

Of course, we'd buy any bathing suit if it'd make us look like her - especially when she's not rolling around in the sand like a VS sex-kitten.

honestly, anyone who is serios about working out can have her body. most of the VS models wear serious falsies in their ads.

she is also the face of david jones in australia, as megan gale is stepping back from her role.

I imagine that's a fairly lucrative contract.

She's been the face of Seafolly for years now, and seeing as Victoria's Secret isn't sold here in Australia, I don't see how it would be a problem.

Why is she not a serious model to you? I don't care that she doesn't walk for big names. She is my favorite, even before she joined VS!

i cringed when i saw this post because i can't stand her. but then i checked out her portfolio and was surprised. gorgeous & classy! i guess VS just brings out the worst in people...is it really worth it? does anyone successfully cross back over to high fashion afterwards? i just think the annual VS "fashion show" is so sad...

why are you guys being so harsh on her? i think she is a great model. who cares if her biggest job is victoria's secret and not prada? does that not entitle her to the same kind of respect from us sitting behind our computers looking at her face?
