no, it's called the trickle down theory. (sometimes it's trickle up---like the whole grunge movement->high fashion)
you can't really copyright a gladiator shoe, since it came from...the roman empire/republic and they are also slightly 'jesus sandal' inspired. did anybody from fashionista actually go to fashion school and learn about the history + theories of fashion?????
