Yep. Mary Kate left, Ashley right. You can tell by the condition of their hair. Mary Kate's is frizzier.

Yeah, you can usually tell by the hair. MK's lips are different too though.

Left - mary kate and right - Ashley
You can tell by the lips, the eyes, and the height, but still, It takes me a while to tell which is which, even after more than 10 years as a fan!! :(

ashley is on the left and mary kate is on the right... ashley's got some updo and her facial expression is always looks stern... and i believe ashley is the one with the bigger eyes.

Ashley's on the right, I believe. Being a huge Ashley Olsen fanatic (haha, it's hard to let go of the Full House days, don't judge me!), I will be so ashamed of myself if MK turned out to be the one on the right! But I'm really, really interested in reading the actual content of this book. When Ashley talks about fashion, specifically the Row, it's very refreshing in comparison to what they have been saying in other interviews their entire lives. And let's be honest, who doesn't love exclusive pictures of the Olsens? Can't wait to see what they're sporting in each picture. I am anticipating this like I anticipated the premiere of the Sex and the City movie and book.

mary-kate is on the left side, ashley on the right. you can tell cause ashley has more prominent cheek bones and a slightly puffier face than mary-kate.

I initially thought it was MK on the left, Ashley on the right, but I actually think it's the other way around. Hair styling means nothing -- this is a photo shoot, they can opt for whatever they want. I think the eyes/lips on the right look more like MK's, and the wider-eye expression on the left looks like Ashley.

How will we ever find out, though -- does it say in the book?

according to people.com http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20216157,00.html?xid=rss-topheadlines mk is on the right and ashley is on the left. If the right is MK, which I think it is, it looks a lot like her photoshoot for elle.

For some of the books mk is on the front and others ash is on the front.

i'm totally sure that ashley is left and mary-kate is right. ashley's eyes are always bigger and open wider. it's confusing i think because they're not both completely in profile. it would be easier to compare if they were.

Besides the fact that it is clearly obvious, it has already been confirmed that MK is on the right and Ashley is on the left.

Can't you see MK's lips pumped with collagen?
