Jul 28, 2008 @ 10:34am

proenza petticoat dress.jpgShh, but:

Proenza is having a somewhat unadvertised sample sale this week, and only because we love you (and know that we'll be there at the opening anyway), here are the details:

When: this Wednesday and Thursday, July 30th and 31st, from 9am until 6pm

Where: 120 Walker Street between Centre and Baxter, 6th floor

What: $50 - $1,125 on items originally sold for $325 - $4,500

Bring a wad of cash or a blank check - no plastic, no returns, no crying on the sidewalk.

Choose wisely.

why do i have to be back in los angeles for the summer?

the only small comfort i get is that i was able to attend the foley + corinna sample sale... but that pales in comparison to ANYTHING by proenza schouler. chagrin.

You have to go early because you know "those girls" are always there (you know who I'm talking about-"those girls" who are always the firs tin line and then hoard armfuls of clothes and then are trying it on in the middle of the racks...and then you're eying all the stuff they have out of the corner of your eye as you go through the leftovers). I bought shoes for $100 and a silk cami top for $50...but then all the good stuff liek the fancy cocktail dresses are still $400. Which I guess is a steal since they used to be $1200?
