Stephanie's Spells

Jul 14, 2008 @ 2:37pm

stephanie seymour for chantelle1.jpgStephanie Seymour's one busy lady these days.

Aside form her usual supermodel duties and raising four kids, the perfect body is about to debut as expert fashion contributor of the all new Interview Magazine in their much anticipated September re-launch.

So while we're busy waiting for her sartorial guidance, we'll be plastering the Chantelle lookbook on our office walls for figure guidance.

It arrived in our mailboxes this afternoon. We can't stop staring at her and it's only fair we share it with you.

The black and white, NYC centic images might be simple - but she makes us want to spend $100 on a pair of underwear.

And after all, isn't that what makes a supermodel?

but really you SHOULD buy a chantelle bra. Seriously I do not even wear clothes over $100 and the only two bras I own are chantelle. They are so comfy and supportive and gorgeous. Really at least try one on next time you 'bra shop'. Think about it if you spend $80 on something you wear twice a month shouldn't you spend $80 on something you will wear 2 times a week or more??

I know she's very beautiful and all that. I do not deny it. But the "perfect body" had breast implants years ago. I think that most of you were probably in elementary school then, and she was not on your radar. But as a follower of the fashion world and models, I remember it. As did Carolyn Murphy, Guinevere Van Seenus, and several others. There are very few humans who are born perfectly perfect.

FOUR KIDS??? REALLY? She must have some supernormal genes (and a huge amount of discipline) to have been able to maintain that body.

She looks like she's had work done, in the 2nd picture. Her face looks really unnatural. Luckily she looks natural in the rest of them, so she narrowly missed being thrown into the rumour mill.

LOTS of work and "touch-ups" done - nose, cheekbones, forehead, top lip, boobs... yes, she's aged well - but with a little help from her (well-paid) friends. She is not quite the same girl that appeared in that Bon Jovi film clip all those years ago. Many of the supe's from the 90's have had stuff done - don't idealise them in a way that exempts that.

Oh, and by the way - exactly where is the lingerie that I should be wanting to buy right about now? Not a single slip in any of the pics. Just an observation...
