Streetwalker: A Lesson in Tailoring

Got Her: Crossing the street between Spring and Mulberry

Stalked Her: Because the muted print caught our eye - it was subtle yet noticeable - and we have to say, it was the best fitting sundress we've seen in quite some time

Shot Her: Because the perfect fit of the dress and the funky pattern made this dress both vintage and chic all at once.

She Says: "I got the dress in Brooklyn at a cute store in Bushwick, it's much cheaper than Williamsburg, it was only $40! It's vintage but I had them take it in for me."

We Say: Congratulations! You are a walking example of how a little cut and stitch can make an outfit.

very cute. i feel like her earrings might be cute too but impossible to tell in the pic. for summer, i've taken to buying lots of cheaper cotton clothes at vintage stores and wherever and having them tailored--they are more forgiving of casual tailoring (nice lady at the dry cleaners--cheap) than heavier fall clothes, and they look great.

Fantastic! The dress is unique and it fits her like a glove. Her wayfarers look fresh paired with this outfit.

Love the dress-if only I could see the print! Where's the detail shot Fashionista? I love streetwalker too much to settle for such poor quality photograghs!

I think this is great. The dress is very flattering on her. Understated, casual but she still looks gorg.

the way she's standing is awkward. like she doesn't know what to do with herself.

i really like that dress. she looks cute and casual, perfect for the hot NYC weather. just lose the sunglasses. they're nice but not with that dress. the sandals are cute too.

Cute dress. You know where else they have really cute dresses? Shopgoldyn. I've bought several there recently. (Kidding. Just wondering why that commenter hadn't chimed in already.)

in a very roundabout way, she reminds me of audrey hepburn - delicate bone structure, big sunglasses, etc. - but she's very modern. she looks fantastic; i wish i could pull off this look :)

She has a really nice figure and this dress is really flattering to that figure. I wish I could pull this off, but unfortunately I kind of go straight down on either side. No curves for me :(
