Tears for McQueen

Someone asked me yesterday, "What will you do when/if you get to go to a McQueen show?"

I'd cry.

And he told me, "Well duh! Everyone cries at McQueen."

Ok. So I might scream, then jump up and down, then play it cool and then probably cry at the show because his clothes are so beautiful and cry after the show because I won't be wearing them for a very long time.

If you feel the same, go to Style.com right now and start clicking through pictures - both party and couture - but look at the ads on the right instead of the pretty people on the left.

That's where I saw this ad.

Maybe we can both win?

he is my most favorite designer! i would be thrilled if i had the chance of going to one of his amazing shows.

after seeing that I will most likely put my name in the running for a chance to see his show. McQueen thinks like no other and manages to create a show that blows your mind as well as your thoughts on fashion and we need more designers like him to make their way onto the scene.

I just tried to enter this contest on his website. There is a typo! I can't enter "NC" as a state. If I enter "MC" - the typo option - I wonder if it will still work. Thoughts?

Ah, I went to some of the London shows. They really were something else. Hell, even just getting IN was an event in itself!
