What's so wrong with being playful with your eyewear? Given that the overwhelming presence of the Wayfarer have definitely spoiled much of the fun of glasses and sunglasses, but I'd much rather see someone in a brightly-colored, originally designed, well made pair of sunglasses than another pair of monotonous, unoriginal Chanel/Gucci/Tom Ford/etc. sunglasses made for $5 in China and sold for $400 to uneducated consumers.

people pay $395 for the Tom Ford logo on the glasses and possibly his approval of the style (or his assistants approval lol). This is cheaper than shoes or bags. dumb but that's what keeps designers from being fired when their beautiful and creative clothes don't sell.
colorful sunglasses are cute but overdone since everyone is doing it. I feel like i'm a "hipster" which just makes me think i am following trends than actually hip.
and i would love a vast collection of birkins!

F*** obnoxious colored plastic sunglasses--anyone who wears them can't help but look as if they got them out of the cereal box. No matter how much they cost those wearing them Always look stupid.
