comme des garcons fall 08.jpgOn Monday, we gave you guys a sneak peek of Rei Kawakubo’s designs for H&M via W’s upcoming issue.

Now that it’s Friday, we’ve got the full range via a very gracious tipster, which we’re happy to share with you all because (secret!) we love you guys, too.

Try to ignore the sticky, un-showered appeal of the models to really take in the clothes. It’s kind of what we expected (deconstructed jackets with Peter Pan collars anyway, the huge statement coat) and yet, not (the pleated skirt, the micro-dotted button down).

We should point out that this lookbook doesn’t include the accessories - but we’re betting it might be like one big black bag, and one small one.

We can already tell this line may not sell so amazingly at H&M as, say, Stella did, regardless of the Rei name. Most of the pieces can easily be worn by boys or girls, which is great, and we’re really into some of the short jackets and the multi-colored men’s shirt (for us, anyway), but other than that, well…

It’s a little Minnie meets Krusty in the asylum, no?

UPDATE: IMAGES REMOVED AT H&M’S REQUEST.

I think it looks great! It's all about how you style the pieces with your everyday wardrobe. Can't wait!

I like it. the models look a bit cracked out and over-styled, but I think the pieces themselves look great and interesting. I'm looking forward to it.

"Minnie meets Krusty" is EXACTLY right...nice one. The coat that looks like someone sewed a dress on top of it seems interesting, but dropped crotch is soooo old. Internationally speaking, I mean.

i want that asymmetrical zip coat and the multicolored men's button down and imagine that plaid jacket ( tailored a bit of course) paired with a dark pair of jeans tucked into boots! and i agree with xxi, mens is far better than womens. fashionologie said that the victorian inspired coat would be the piece that sold out, but its far too hard to pull off.

i prefer the men's clothing to the women's. the polka dots are a bit too cutesey.

what is up the butt of fashionista readers today? I like that navy coat for women. I could see a line for this.

the dropped crotch doesn't look as dropped as much as it looks like there's something actually in there. gross.

those polka dots are pretty horrible also.

but thats just me.

what is up with the new format fashionista? The scrolling is so much better than the click, load, adjust. repeat.

wow I like the third men's picture outfit a lot, overall mens is better than womens. And did you notice the models have really bad ANA WINTOUR hair unlike the past chanel couture show.

i LOVE that rei stuck to his aesthetic. am vicariously proud.

however, that stuff just won't work with my body. so i'll ooh and ahh over it at the store and wistfully pass it by :(

i'm very diappointed. it's all a bit boring and tired. the only original piece would be the deconstructed jacket. come on, trenches, stumpy harem pants, boring suit jackets, and an old asymmetrical zip jacket?

not very spiced up at all, but it's for a wide audience, so what can anyone expect?

Seriously!?!?
It's Horrible! I actually am laughing at how bad it is.
It makes one wonder if it was all just a cruel joke played to see if people would actually buy this garbage. Then the designer and the store laugh all the way to the bank when you all follow along.

i think this represents japanese style and rei's persona perfectly and if youre into that then this is a great opportunity for you. i actually really like the teal coat and blue polka dot shirt over the black polka dot shirt look.

Rei stuck to his asthetic?

Rei is also on the power list of Time's "Women in Fashion".
