It’s less than a month since Lauren Conrad’s clothing line was dropped by Kitson due to “lackluster sales.”
It seems the Hills star’s line of “basics” and jersey wasn’t making it with the LA crowd unless LC herself was in store to promote it.
But here’s some news that should make her say “haha” all day today -
Not only is LC herself set to appear as a presenter at the Emmys on September 21st, but the models that will strut the stage to hand out awards to every prime-time winner will be wearing dresses from the Lauren Conrad Collection.

It’s D&G and I just saw it at Saks. And no, I think it’s a great dress. If I had seen it a week earlier I would have bought it too! Now I have nowhere to wear it? (Though I might sale-stalk it for some Fall events…)

Holt Renfrew carries the LC line…that stuff is 60% off and it still doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.

You’d think with all of the major designers clamouring for placement on that show, she’d be far down on the list.
I guess if they choose a featured designer months before the event, that might explain it. The press for her line was hotter back then, wasn’t it?

and what’s next, the models are going to be wearing flip flops too? now i have to watch the emmys, if only to see what LC “designed”. hahahahaha
I say good for her!..but at the same time i have my doubts about her line being appropiate for the Emmys…I think she has great personal style, but her designs definately fall short. Cotton maxi dresses are not an item models should be wearing for the emmys. I would like to give her a chance and hope to be surprised.
Why not have F21 do the emmy’s, it’s cheaper and they basically have the same stuff

I can’t help but be annoyed she has any attention paid to her stupid line to begin with. boring is an understatement. if she wasn’t a ‘celebrity’ no one would give a crap.
and she kills that dress she is wearing… as in dead. looks average at best.
