It's one week until IMG and Vogue's Models.Live premieres, and now MTV's trying to get in on the model market share... sort of. They're casting for a new show, Model Makers, for which they'll make contestants compete against each other for a career in modeling (plus $100,000) in a weekly eliminations-based show that sounds almost exactly like ANTM. But, here's the catch - candidates for the show must be between the ages of 17 and 24, and 130 - 190 pounds in weight. Did we mention that viewers will have the pleasure of watching contestants try to train/diet their weight off to be model-sized by the end? Full details after the jump, dignity not included.

MODEL MAKERS will give you the ultimate make-over and transform you into the model of your dreams. Women come in all shapes and sizes, but models don't. The term model conjures an image of stick-thin, towering beauties oozing confidence, glamour, poise and sexuality from every pore. Under the watchful "eye" of these experts, models will endure twelve weeks of intensive physical fitness training to help them get down to their ideal size. Models will also compete in various high fashion challenges to determine who has star quality.
