I don't hate Lily but I don't love her either, regardless this shoot is Bland, Bland, Bland & Vintage with absolutely no fashion relevance. besides the theme has a sleazy 70's porn vibe don't it?

I completely get the "not flattering thing" but really white tights make EVERYONE, even models, look like they have elephant legs. Faux pas doesn't even cover it.

With Love I totally agre with you. I got nothing from this shoot. Lily looks like a porcelain doll with absolutely no personality. I love lily but not in this spread.

Lily Cole has one of the most interesting faces out there today, totally set apart from those seemingly starved women with protruding cheekbones that we so frequently see dominating the magazines and catwalks. That being said, I find this spread utterly refreshing. It captures not only the cheeky innocence and femininity of the clothes, but also demonstrates how designers today (Erin Featherston, Stella McCartney named here) are able to take styles and inspirations to a place that transcends time and resonates in our vastly different culture today.
