the nike "swoop", a student designed it. later once nike became successful, she got some stock options

I think it's nike too, but I heard it was $40 so I'm not really sure. Wasn't it designed by a girl who studied graphic design at the time? xo Raphael

I haven't the slightest idea, though the general consensus seems to be the Nike swoosh.

I just wanted to say I love the Maggie Rizer shot! That editorial was so intense. We've come a long from those label-whoring days 8 years ago

I'm not sure Nike initially paid for the logo.

(but I am pretty sure that the kid who designed it was later compensated, when Nike started making money.)
