why are people interested in this band? their music defines boring and derivative...I just don't get it. are they really that cute?? typical of the fashion community to fawn over a talentless, but handsome, band.

oh i was there to see THE LORDS, but Faran was right behind me. I wanted to say hi, but was too intimidated...don't know if she's cool like that...but was super cute!

It was a good show...but FYI to concert goers Santos doesn't have the best acoustics.

I wasn't there last night, but I live in Tribeca and frequent Santos often (Thursday night is by far the most fun) and can say very confidently that they have the BEST sound system in Manhattan right now. Maybe the Virgins didn't take enough time to do acoustics? Andrew WK and Spencer Sweeney don't skimp on audio gear, please.

Also I saw The Virgins at APW, and yes, they're fun, but not even legal and very entitled. Just not a very "mature" band...baby Strokes, maybe?

Santos does have a fairly good sound system... the problem at the concert was (for the opening song at least) the sound guy was nowhere to be seen! Not being able to hear the lead vocals for the first song was a bit of a nightmare, but once they got the sound adjusted I thought they sounded great.

honestly, i don't get it.

i saw them a year and a half ago opening for JET, twice, and they weren't impressive. The bassist was nice. But they already had these groupie girls who were cutting in line, and lied about their relation, and acted like roadies or something. Which was a big turnoff. It's so important to not have too many dumb ppl around you.

While I enjoy The Virgins music that I purchased off of iTunes, I saw them at All Points West as well and was seriously disappointed. Also why did they change "Rich Girls" for the music video? The new version sucks. They're just one of those bands that needs all that music studio magic to make them sound good.
