Form Sale!

form dress coat from fall 08.jpgWe’ll always have a soft spot for Form. After all, theirs was the show at which we got caught in an elevator with Andre J at 9 am on a Saturday morning ,and you can’t really beat that.

We like their clothes, too.

So as if we need another excuse to shop, we’ll be heading over to their pop-up sample sale tomorrow. It’s conveniently located just blocks from our office at 170 Elizabeth St. between Kenmare and Spring.

The sale starts tomorrow and goes until August 10th from 12 to 7 pm and the clothes will be marked down by 80%.

We can’t promise Andre J will be there, but we can promise cute dresses you can wear to this fashion week, or to make your local dive bar fancier this weekend.

We’ll see you there - say hi!

Too bad Jerry was the first one to be voted off during this season of Project Runway. Doesn't say much about his talents or his clothes.

Wasn't the designer of form the first guy who got kicked off project runway?

i don't think being kicked off Proj Runway mean they're bad designers, chances are the producers just think that they're not interesting enough personalities to keep around for ratings.

Living in NYC can be too tempting sometimes, with all the opportunities to shop and all the end of season sample sales. I know for myself, I have to pick and choose which ones I go to. I am just wondering- is anyone in a lot of debt from all this shopping? It can be SO tempting, and a kind of intoxicating experience for those of us who love edgy fashion AND a bargain. I have a question that I ask myself when I am in this situation- would I buy this if it wasn't on sale? Or am I just buying it because of the name and the price is reduced? I am just curious because many of your postings state that you could never afford this or that. Just wondering....

did u see what he designed for the first challenge? With his boring personality and his horrendously ugly design, no wonder he was kicked off. Jerry sucks.

I just stopped by the sale, and they have lots of cute stuff -- including lots of dresses for 100 bucks. No Andre, though.

in response to fashionursta--
i am feeling the wallet woes at the end of this summer. I've been to a lot of sales and sample sales this summer, scored great pieces at killer prices, but it all adds up in the end to exorbitant spending. I justify this with the fact that once college starts again, I won't have time to shop, ever.
