We’re not usually so struck by a magazine cover. We see tons of them all the time, and besides, the ads (with actual models) are always so much better.
But Vogue UK really hit the mark with their upcoming September cover, and we’re smitten.
1. Karen. Need we say more?
2. The total absence of coverlines including words like “diet,” “botox,” “boyfriends,” etc.
3. The words “shoes,” “handbags,” and “international collections.”
4. And the best part? The way Karen’s golden red hair signals “Fall” even better than that close up of Prada’s Fall lace.
Thanks, Vogue UK. No shame in holding this one high on the subway.

Does anyone know a good newsstand in Manahattan that sells the overseas Vogue editions such as the British and French? Barnes and Noble just doesn’t cut it, and I want to see them in person!
Ummm there are a few stores around union square that you can depend on to carry the international issues.
My favorite/frequented newsstands are (1) Grand Central station – they have a lot of international stuff, (2) Broadway & Bleecker, (3) 6th Ave. & 11th or 12th, and (4) Universal News on B’way in Soho
My hair stylist is friends with Karen and does her hair (she gave her the baby bangs). Her hair is not naturally red, it’s brown, and she is so so sweet. She’s one of my faves too.
I checked through a couple of my copies of UK Vogue and actually alot of them miss out the G in Vogue, infact the last two issues have so this makes three in row now!
I always buy British Vogue from Borders.

I usually don’t like her too much, but this cover take the cake. I neither think that she is really redhead, but who knows.
WOW just got back from a week-long errrmmm… guide camp and, btw, came straight to your blog as soon as I got in the house. anyways, I saw this article and ran upstairts to find it on my bed. I hugged and kissed it.
